This year, CP 301 Planning Design Studio, which determined Afyonkarahisar Province as case study area, visited the central and surrounding districts of Afyonkarahisar Province as part of a technical trip. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, participation was left to volunteering and the technical trip was held with the participation of 11 planning students. With the participation of CP301 Studio executive Assoc. Dr. Fatma Senol, Assist. Prof. Dr. Stefano Salata and Res. Assist. Zeynep Özçam, the 3rd grade students gathered the necessary information and data about Afyonkarahisar Province by conducting interviews with various institutions, as well as the examinations they made in the city and its immediate surroundings, where they will develop spatial strategy plans within the scope of CP 301 Planning Studio. During their visit, the students received information from the local people about the environmental, economic and social problems faced by Afyonkarahisar and its districts, and gathered on-site information about the potentials of the Province.
