Internship Application Process (2025–2026)

All internship procedures (application and submission) will be carried out through the Internship Management System.

Since the system is newly implemented, a guide has been prepared to help students complete the application process correctly and thoroughly. The guide can be accessed via the Internship Management System Student User Guide available under the Forms section on the Faculty website.

Important Reminders

  1. The student logs into the Internship Management System. The relevant internship is listed in the system as a course.
  2. After entering the required information into the system, the application form must be printed out. The form must then be signed with a handwritten (“wet”) signature and stamped by the authorized representative of the institution where the internship will take place. Afterward, the signed and stamped document must be scanned and uploaded to the system.
At this stage, the following documents must also be uploaded:

    • Internship application form signed by the institution
    • Social security eligibility certificate (Müstehaklık Belgesi)
    • Transcript

(See: Internship Management System Student User Guide, p. 5.)

  3. The original hard copy with handwritten signatures must be kept by the student.

Note: In order to apply for the CP390 internship, the CP301 course must have been successfully completed.

  1. Internship applications must be completed no earlier than 30 days and no later than 15 days before the internship start date.
If any discrepancy is detected regarding the start/end dates, internship duration, or insurance period, the documents must be revised and resubmitted.
  2. The internship consists of a total of 20 working days and must be completed within a single institution during the insurance coverage period. Days of sick leave or official leave are not counted as internship days.

For detailed information regarding the internship, students are advised to read the Internship Directive available under the Forms section on the department website.

Post-Internship Submission Process

The submission process is completed by uploading the internship report book and completing the company survey.

Internship Report Book

  1. The internship report book must be prepared according to the sample available under the Forms section on the department website (Form H1 – Internship Book Example_EN).
  2. One page is allocated for each internship day in the report book. Each page must include detailed explanations of the work carried out on that day.
An explanatory text of at least 80 words is expected for each day.
Materials such as drawings, plans, photographs, or similar documents should be placed in the Appendices section at the end of the report book, and references to these appendices should be included in the text.
  3. The internship report book must be converted into PDF format and uploaded to the Internship Management System.

Note: Incomplete or insufficient report books will be returned for revision.

Company Survey

  1. During the upload stage of the internship report book, after entering the company information into the system, a survey link will automatically be sent to the company representative via email. At the same stage, a password generated by the system must be shared with the company representative by the intern.
  2. The process is completed once the company representative fills out the survey regarding the intern’s performance.

Course Registration and Evaluation Process

In the following semester (for summer internships, during the fall semester), the student must register for the CP390 course.
The evaluation is carried out at the end of the semester, and the grade is entered as a fall semester course grade.

Internships submitted with missing documents, incomplete working days, or deemed unsuccessful will be considered invalid and must be repeated.

Submission Deadline

The internship report book must be uploaded to the system, and the company survey must be completed by 09 October 2026.
