As the Urban and Regional Planning Department at IZTECH, we became a full member of the Association of European Planning Schools (AESOP) in 2025, thanks to the support of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Yusuf BARAN, and the hard work of our faculty. As a department, we participated in the 25th Annual AESOP Congress, hosted by the Urban and Regional Planning Department at Yıldız Technical University. Our faculty members presented numerous papers and chaired sessions at the AESOP Congress, one of the world’s largest international events in the field of planning and urban studies. We aim to realize our goal of hosting an AESOP event in the near future!
