ERASMUS programme in the Department of City and Regional Planning offers students and instructors an opportunity to study abroad and exchange experiences and knowledge. Our department has exchange agreements with 10 universities across Europe through ERASMUS Exchange Programme. Currently the Department has Erasmus links with: Universiteit van Amsterdam, Technische Universitaet Dortmund, FH-Frankfurt am Mein, Politechnika Gdanska, Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, University of Thessaly, Politecnico di Torino, and Technische Universitaet Wien.
Students who would like to pursue part of their education (one or two semesters) in those specified universities above would complete their course credits in the joint agreed university. In addition to education, short-term scholarships up to two months are also subsidised within the exchange programme. The ERASMUS programme not only provides an environment for gaining experience and transferring knowledge but also it can be an important step in students’ professional lives and personal developments. Our aim in the coming years is to increase the number of cooperated universities and have more contact with international research and study fields.
